WhiteLight Group Project and Program Manager Robert Myres will be presenting a session called Managing in a Blended and Matrix Team Environment on Wednesday, August 19th from 9:00 am to 9:50 am.
Blended teams (consultant resources working side-by-side with client resources) are common in software design and implementation projects. However, when the client resources are assigned to the IT project in a matrix hierarchy, a degree of complexity is injected in terms of managing the project team and maximizing organizational efficiency.
This presentation will examine a case study in a recently implemented JD Edwards project from both the client perspective and from the consultant partner perspective. The discussion will focus on strategy, tactics, results, and lessons learned and will be applicable to project and program managers, and all key stakeholders for current and future implementation initiatives.
