Lookout is raising the stakes on the ad-ware and anti-malware front in regards to mobile protection. Samsung Electronics recently signed an agreement to install Lookout’s antivirus software on all of its forthcoming smartphones running Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android Operating System.

Lookout already protects 45 Million People worldwide, but this cash infusion and who they are taking on as investors will put them right at the center of the map- and they are marching RIGHT TOWARD THE ENTERPRISE SPACE.

Bringing on capital backed by Deutsche Telekom, Qualcomm Ventures, Greylock Partners and Mithril Capital Management as well as continued investment by existing investors Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures and Khosla Ventures as well as pushes at the operator level by Orange, Sprint, and T-Mobile make this company one to definitely watch.

Lookout was selected as a 2013 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer company and received the 2013 Laptop Editor’s Choice Award.
